Is it evident in the Greek interpretation that the Golden Ratio formula is the ideal standard to judge facial beauty? What about inner beauty, does that make up for the lack of facial beauty? Perhaps it’s the way I see things, but beauty to me comes from a variety of things and my first thought of the word beauty doesn’t take me to the obvious big screen star or super models facial features.

Does a beautiful day energize you? How about a beautiful car or fine made shoes? Beauty is what holds attention longer than the average look. It’s a way for us to appreciate or even identify with the unordinary as opposed to the ordinary. I’m attracted to beauty that resides in the arts. Can a painted canvass stimulate your inner desires to love and be loved? Or does it manifest itself from a lyrical form of dance expression? I dream in ways that allow my mind to be creative and sometimes live vicariously through the art of another. This may seem ridiculous to many, but to those that know my meaning will attest that this phenomenal exercise allows one to achieve an inner understanding and genuine appreciation of beauty in all forms.

My latest watch design derives from all of the things mentioned and more. GGI “After 8 Collection” designed for women is a testament that we see beauty in many ways. My flow was to make a statement in the cluster or arrangement of the diamonds at the 12:00 position. Its bold three dimensional design allows the light to reflect from any direction while catching the sun. This design has not been achieved on any watch design to date and I am pleased to announce its introduction and long collaboration of its design details with manufacturing. The black dial is semi gloss enamel and is a favorite material for me to work with because of its absolute striking beauty and flawless appearance. The alternate silver dial in the collection allows me to be more creative in abstract design which fits my comfort to a tee. Why do I enjoy the Roman Numerals so much is a question asked by many? The answer is simpler than you may think, I just do. I smile inside when I hear that question, because I use Arabic just as much but without fanfare for some reason.

The straps used in the new collection offer and unusual beauty that is rarely seen. For the black enamel dial I use Stingray Fish which is natural and so remarkably beautiful with its bubbled textured skin. The Roman Numerals watch uses Python Snake skin and allows and abstract beauty that I find to be extremely original in appearance and making a bold design statement at the same “time”. Both designs are available without diamonds on the bezel.
